No. Guest checkout is supported — you only need an email address for order updates. Creating an account just means you can see order history and re-order in one click.

Yes — head to the Create Your Own page from the main nav. Enter your make, model, variant, paint colour and the key specs and we'll hand-finish a card to order. You can also use the AI assistant in the bottom-right corner to fill the form for you in plain English.

You don't need one. Type the colour name (e.g. "Isle of Man Green", "Nardo Grey") and we'll match it to a curated database of OEM paint codes. The AI assistant can also do this for you. If we can't resolve the name, you can pick a hex with the colour swatch on the form.

Yes — there's a UK plate field on the Create Your Own form. Enter your registration and we pull make, model, year and colour from the DVLA Vehicle Enquiry Service to pre-fill the form. You can edit any field afterwards.

Yes. Add each car to the cart as a separate item — quantity controls how many copies of the same card you receive.

All major debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via Stripe Checkout. Apple Pay and Google Pay are supported on compatible devices.

Yes. We don't see or store your card details — payment is handled end-to-end by Stripe, who are PCI DSS Level 1 certified. Order details are kept on our side; card data isn't.

Custom-made products go into production immediately, so we can't change or cancel after checkout. Pre-made Icon Build products can be cancelled within 1 hour of ordering — contact us via the Contact page and we'll sort it.

A CARIX card is a credit-card-sized identity card featuring your car's make, model, paint colour and key specifications. Cards are printed on premium PVC (the same material as a bank card) and finished by hand. We also offer the same design as a sticker, keychain or display plaque.

Cards: 0.76 mm premium PVC, identical to a bank card.
Stickers: matte vinyl with a kiss-cut backing — peel and apply.
Keychains: black ABS plastic case with a polished metal split-ring.
Plaques: clear cast acrylic mounted on a brushed metal base.

Cards are credit-card sized: 85.6 × 53.98 mm. Stickers are 95 × 60 mm. Keychains are roughly 55 × 35 mm in the card window. Display plaques are 200 × 130 mm.

Custom-made products (anything you customised, including plate-lookup orders) are non-refundable unless faulty — they're made specifically for you. Stock Icon Build products can be returned within 14 days of receipt if unused and in original packaging.

Send a photo to our Contact page within 48 hours of delivery and we'll send a replacement at no cost. Don't bin the original — we may ask for it back.

UK orders typically arrive in 3–5 working days for stock items. Custom-made cards take 5–7 working days because they're hand-finished to order. International shipping varies by destination — we'll quote at checkout.

Orders over £30 ship free within the UK. Below that, standard UK shipping is £3.99. International rates are calculated at checkout.

Yes — we ship worldwide. Customs duties and import taxes are the buyer's responsibility outside the UK. Tracking is included on every international order.

You'll get a confirmation email with a tracking link as soon as your order ships. Logged-in customers can also see status on their My Account page.
